Inspect the area of the cooling shroud (starter shroud) and check for mouse nest yes mouse nest!If you do not remove the mouse nest and start the engine it's toast.If your lucky the mouse chewed your spark plug wire and the engine will not start.A tell tale sign of a mouse nest is thread or cloth in the starter shroud cloth pieces and thread can only get there one way mice.
